taste pavilion @ slow food nation 08

I attended the Taste Pavilion at Slow Food Nation last Sunday evening. This was the first Slow Food sponsored celebration of American traditionally produced foods. The food was enjoyable, the lines were not.

At $65 a pop, was it worth navigating the crowds?

For 65 a pop, were there lots of free samples at least ?

    Any interesting exhibits ?

What a great idea for an event, but at $65 and the long lines I’m not sure that it is at all worth it. I’ll pass on that!

There were quite a lot of free samples. The idea was to taste the locally produced artisanal foods from around the US. Hopefully the next one will be better organized.

Hiya! I know this is kinda off topic but I’d figured I’d ask. Would you be interested in trading links or maybe guest writing a blog post or vice-versa? My site addresses a lot of the same topics as yours and I feel we could greatly benefit from each…
