December 31st, 2006This is Jenny:
She’s half Boxer, half ???. Speculations as to the breed of her father range from German Shepherd, to Pit Bull, to Canaanite. Her face is somewhat German Shepherd-like, yet her coloring is in the typical Canaanite range. She’s still quite the Boxer, though: loyal, territorial, a fierce protector of her pack, and playful as a pup. At seven years old, Jenny enjoys running laps on the lawn and inviting nearly any dog she meets to play.

N.B. Sadly, Jenny’s tail was clipped in her youth, and not by us. Her tail is more of a pom-pom that dances contentedly whenever Jenny’s happy.

She’s probably a german shepard with pit bull… I don’t think she’s a boxer – her muzzle is to long. You were probably told she’s a boxer because of her black muzzle – but notice the black rim around the eye in addition to the black muzzle. Thats a german shepard with the head shape of an American Stafford Terrier.
She should be a medium sized dog but strong.

I think that Jenny is so cute. I have raised boxers for years I would have to say that jenny does look more like a German Shepherd more. In the same hand the way that you talk about the temper that’s how the boxers are that I have had.

We have a dog, Haley, who is half boxer/german shepherd. She looks eerily similar to your dog! Her tail was not docked, and we get whipped constantly! We can swap pics and compare!

My 1/2 boxer, 1/2 German sheppard looks identical to yours, also I was told mine could be a blackmouth cur breed.

i have a half boxer half german shepherd who looks EXACTLY like her, i was browsing pics and actually thought this was a photo of my dog lol. 99% sure she’s boxer/german shepherd, they get the shepherd muzzle.

OMG!! this looks almost exactly like my dog, he’s german shepard nn pitbull mix too !! i think it’s a gorgeous mix. and HIGHLY intelligent !

Wow your dog looks like mines, i really believes she is german shepard and pit mix….my dog has the black nose with blue coming off her face and down her back and she is tan in color, she is short in height and long like the shepards her markings of the blue and tan colors are the reverse to the shepard dark colors and thick fur around the neck.

Your dog is for sure German shepherd/pitbull…….my dog looks just like yours, exactly like yours and mine is a german shephard/pitbull.
Very beautiful dogs and very loyal and easy to train.

Thanks for the pics I just got a shepherd boxer mix pup and was curious as to what he will look like Jenny is beautiful. And not to be rude but I am pretty sure the question was not about Jenny’s boxer backround so I am just to assume they met the mother of this beautiful pup.

i have a german shepard boxer and her parents have papers and she is uncanny similar to this dog with the one exception of her sad floppy boxer ears. if your dog looks somewhat boxer and still acts like a puppy well into its full grown years it is most likely boxer.

Hi there, I have an eight month old pup who looks very much like your Jenny. I had her DNA tested, and she is half pure breed Siberian husky, and Am Staff mix. She’s and amazing dog, and everyone assumes she’s German Shepard, but isn’t one bi! You can’t really tell just by the look.
